ISM Conference 2009
International Society for Mycotoxicology

General Information

The aim of this conference is to facilitate discussion and collaboration between scientists, opinion leaders, decision-makers and industry in the specific research area of mycotoxin reduction in the food and feed chains.

Participants from within and outside the European Union will extend the already existing linkages on reduction of mycotoxin contamination within continental and national networks to a global level.

In each session, invited speakers will give keynote lectures on the latest state-of-the-art in the area of interest. In addition to oral and poster presentations, round table discussions of the conference topics will be organised and will enable a fruitful dialogue between scientists and the food and feed industry as well as between researchers from all parts of the world.

Come and join us to obtain information about the latest developments in mycotoxin reduction at this international gathering of eminent professionals. This central location in Europe will facilitate the west-east and north-south interaction at a global level.

All abstracts will be refereed and a criterion of acceptance will be the level of originality. A condition of submission is that, if accepted, the paper will be presented at the conference by one of the authors.

Articles of the contributions of invited speakers and other selected research presentations will be published in a special issue of the peer-reviewed scientific journal Food Additives and Contaminants.
